Calling All Movie Lovers and Communities!

In 2026 Ohio will sizzle with movie magic as communities showcase their stories and contributions to the big screen by showing movies made by, starring or affiliated with Ohioans or linked to Ohio. Want to participate, but don’t know where to begin? Here are a few suggestions:

  • Volunteer at an OGTTM event in your community. These events may be led by CVBs (Convention and Visitors Bureaus), theater owners, historical society members, local civic and business leaders, film enthusiasts, educators, etc. Check the OGTTM Events Calendar for links to local venues you can reach out to.
  • Contact a local venue to suggest they host an OGTTM event, if there isn’t one already on our list. Possible locations might include commercial theaters, historic and art house theaters, drive-ins, as well as a nontraditional location such as a town square or park that shows outdoor movies, civic centers, auditoriums.
  • Plan to experience OGTTM events throughout the state and enjoy the movie magic happening in every corner of Ohio! Invite your family and friends to attend with you!
